The saunas / Custom cut

Custom-cut saunas.

A permanent sauna, cut and fitted on site to the exact dimensions of your room.

Norman: Glass across the front and right-hand walls opens up the room, with a Pikkutonttu heater and valance LED lighting.
Unwind: A full-glass front reveals brown and tan cedar, with an upgraded step-up platform.

What it is

Built as part of the room,
not placed in it.

A custom-cut sauna is framed, paneled, and finished in place. That is what lets it follow a sloped ceiling, wrap around a column, run glass across two walls, or fill an awkward corner exactly.

It is the right choice when the sauna is part of the architecture: a new build, a renovated bathroom or basement, a pool house, or a commercial amenity floor.

Your choices

What we decide together.

Wood
Western red cedar as standard. Other woods on request, such as the black tikka walls in the Richman sauna.
Glass
An all-glass door, a full glass front, or glass on two walls.
Benches
Height, depth, and layout for how many people will use it. Step-up platforms and curved backrests are common requests.
Lighting
Valance, under-bench, and backrest LED lighting, dimmable.
Heater
Lava rock, infrared, or an InfraSauna combination, sized for the room.

Timing

A day or two on site.

Once the room is prepared, installing a custom-cut sauna usually takes a day or two. The planning before that takes longer, and that is where the quality comes from.

Current lead time from order to installation is 8 to 10 weeks. We cover site preparation with you or your builder during design.
